Hannah & Marti Win Just The Two Of Us

Kicking off the show with an electrifying version of the Rolling Stone’s Brown Sugar with a high impact, high octane performance, Brendan and Beverley gained two top scores from the judges with CeCe and Tito both awarding 10 with 36 points over all. Beverley was so overwhelmed she burst in to tears.
Mark and Sarah were second on the stage with the Mancini classic Moon River in a new swing interpretation also garnering a top score from Tito and 34 points in total.
Hannah and Marti were the third of the finalists on the stage with their country number, Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me but it wasn’t such a hit with the judges on bringing in 30 points.
In a very close race of votes from the viewers, at 8.30pm Mark and Sarah polled bottom and were first to leave tonight’s competition.
Brendan and Beverley kicked off the second half of the show with Elton Johns Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me during which Beverley could hardly keep her emotions in check, she was so overwhelmed by the occasion.
Marti and Hannah came back with have Rod Stewart’s I Told You Lately winning acclaim from the judges.
In an very close viewer vote, at times there was less than 1% between them, but in the end Hannah and Marti triumphed and were crowned Just the Two Of Us champions.
