Emma Bunton To Release New Single

Emma Bunton Emma Bunton kicks off 2007 with brand new single ‘All I Need To Know’ released on 12th February through 19 Recordings/Universal. 2006 proved to be a hugely successful year in the ex. Spice Girl’s life, with a top 3 single ‘Downtown’ released in November for Children in Need and a spectacular weekly appearance on the Saturday night hit BBC TV show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ where she reached the final three in the competition.

Emma penned ‘All I Need To Know’, the opening track from her latest album ‘Life In Mono’, with Jamie Hartman (Will Young, Natalie Imbruglia) and is thrilled to be releasing it as her first single this year. A beautifully tender, timeless and elegant track, Emma’s vocals glide softly over a gentle melody of strings and piano, paying tribute to the support you need from loved ones when you challenge yourself in life.

Emma says’ “I wrote this with Jamie Hartman just before I turned 30. At that point in my life, I wanted to go for challenges that I wasn’t used to, learn things that I'd usually be a bit scared of. I’m lucky as I have a great family, friends and Jade who would support me through these times. You go through stages where you change and it's so nice to have people that support you and grow with you and that applies to all my fans as well. This is definitely my favourite track on the album.”

The single is accompanied by a poetic and mystical video directed by Max & Dania. Originally inspired by the photography of Peter Lindburgh the film was beautifully shot on a bracing day in December on the streets of East London and depicts Emma as an ethereal beauty, a guardian angel, amongst people going about their day in gritty city life.

The single will be released on 12th February as a two track CD. There will also be an exclusive Bimbo Jones remix of the single available on iTunes.
