Hollyoaks Babe Is On The Run

TV star, Sarah Jayne Dunn who played Mandy Richardson in top Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, has just signed up to run this year’s Flora London Marathon for Marie Curie Cancer Care on April 22.

Sarah Jayne, said: “Running the Flora London Marathon is something I have always wanted to do and I am proud to be running as part of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Daffodil Team.

“Marie Curie Nurses look after more than 18,000 terminally ill patients every year, totally free of charge, giving them the choice of dying at home supported by their families. Running the 26 mile course this April, will be a challenge but when I cross the finish line I’ll know that my efforts will enable many more people to benefit from the expert home nursing that Marie Curie Cancer Care provides.”

Sarah has been training for the marathon with her former co-star Helen Noble-who played Hollyoaks’ Abby Davies. She will also be running as part of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Daffodil Team. The girls will also be joined on the day by another ex-Hollyoaks star, Andy Newton Lee, who played Robbie Flynn in the popular weeknight soap.
