In The Name Of Her Father: Isabella Rossellini

This extraordinary new exhibition, by international award winning filmmaker and photographer Jody Shapiro, documents the making of Isabella Rossellini’s tribute film to her father Roberto Rossellini, My Dad is 100 Years Old.
Full of pathos and atmosphere, these new photographs pay homage to the tradition that Roberto Rossellini made famous; blurring the boundaries of art and life: questioning fiction & fact.
The photographs also appear in a book written by Isabella, In the Name of the Father, the Daughter and the Holy Ghosts, published by Shirmer/Mosel in 2006 in Germany and by Haus Publishing in Great Britain. This body of work has been exhibited in Toronto at 64 Steps Contemporary Arts and at the Kino Arsenal Filmhaus Gallery in Berlin in November 2006.
Launching with a select private reception hosted by Kontemporary Art at Home House in Mayfair on May 5th, with a special appearance by Isabella Rossellini and Jody Shapiro, the Exhibition will continue through until May 21st at the Westbrook Gallery.
