Matt Dillon Directs Dinosaur Jr Video

Old friend, music aficionado and film star, Matt’s vision was to lace the bands history into a clip that alluded to the past, while showing the band doing what they do best, playing live...today.
The resulting clip illustrates the understated strength that Dinosaur Jr has always personified. After the video’s theme was dreamed up, a set was needed - and what other setting would serve better than the basement of brethren-iconoclasts Sonic Youth? None. So it was. The new video is peppered with the bands history, but most importantly it acts as a visual platform for the bands first new single since the Bug LP was released in 1988.
If nothing else this video will reintroduce the band to the world and will illustrate once and for all: Dinosaur Jr. is, and always will be, J, Lou and Murph.
