Mel B Will Take Eddie Murphy To Court
Mel B is taking ex-lover Eddie Murphy to court to make him take a paternity test. The former Spice Girl, who insists Eddie is the father of her one-month-old daughter Angel Iris, claims the actor has changed his mind about taking a DNA test.Mel said in an interview with People magazine: "He's not doing a DNA test and he's not signing the birth certificate. So it's going to have to go to court so he can be forced to do it, which is strange since he was the one asking for it."
Eddie denied he was the father of Mel's baby during a Dutch TV interview last December and was adamant he would be demanding a paternity test when the child was born.
Mel also revealed Eddie has not contacted her since Angel was born, branding the actor "irresponsible".
The 31-year-old fumed: "He hasn't seen his daughter. My people have contacted his people and they just had no response to anything.
"Eddie is a great guy. I just think no woman should have to go through that and no baby should have to go through that. Be responsible. What else can you say?"
Eddie's representative Arnold Robinson would not comment on his client's personal life.
Meanwhile, rumours Eddie has had a vasectomy have been denied. The actor's brother Charlie was reportedly overheard telling fans Eddie couldn't be Angel's father because he had been sterilised.
Charlie has now refuted claims he ever made the comments, saying: "As far as I know, this incident never happened. How would I know if my brother had a vasectomy? Charlie Murphy does not have the itinerary on any man's penis!"
