Tim Roth To Star In The Incredible Hulk

Tim Roth is set to star in 'The Incredible Hulk'. The 'Pulp Fiction' actor is being lined up to play the Abomination alongside Ed Norton and Liv Tyler in the latest adaptation of the classic Marvel comic book series. Roth will star as Emil Blonsky, a vicious mercenary who transforms into Hulk 's super-strong nemesis the Abomination after exposure to gamma rays.

The Abomination was introduced in the comic book in the 60s, but did not appear in Ang Lee's 2003 movie 'Hulk'. Ed Norton will star as the Hulk's alter-ego nuclear physicist Dr. Bruce Banner, taking over from Eric Bana. The storyline will see Banner, who is on the run from the US military, trying to cure himself of the condition that turns him into the giant green monster.

Co-producer Kevin Feige said: "The film will be a fun, high-octane event. We could not be more excited about this project."

Louis Leterrier, who previously worked on 'The Transporter', will direct the movie, while Zak Penn - who wrote the 'X-Men' sequels - will pen the script. Filming is due to begin this summer, with a scheduled release of June 2008.
