Paris Hilton Gets Released, And So Does Her Biography

26th June 2007 Print
Paris Hilton As Paris Hilton prepares to be released from jail, John Blake Publishing announces the impending publication of the first full biography of the celebrity socialite.

Written by Chas Newkey-Burden, Paris Hilton: The Biography will tell for the first time the full story of this remarkable woman's life. From her childhood living in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel to her jail term for driving offences and all the drama in-between.

Paris first came to widespread public attention with the unauthorised release of an intimate home video Paris filmed with her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon in 2003.

But she bounced back with The Simple Life reality television series, the successful launch of her own perfume, nightclubs and jewellery and a foray into the world of pop with an album that made the US Top 10. Romantically linked with a string of international stars of music, sport and movies, her personal life has been the subject of much scrutiny.

But she continues to work hard despite all the pressure, being in demand as much as a model used by top agencies all over the world. She is regularly asked to endorse products and shows no sign of slowing down. Is Paris Hilton really the girl who has everything?

Author Chas Newkey-Burden says: "Paris will emerge stronger as a person and celebrity from her prison sentence. She has long ago learned to turn any setback to her advantage and will do just the same with this episode. We've not seen the last of her - quite the opposite in fact."
