Pop Starlet Zoe Birkett To Star In Thriller Live

Pop Starlet Zoe Birkett has been confirmed as one of the principal singers for the Autumn 2007 Tour Dates of the hit production celebrating the music of Michael & The Jackson 5 just – Thriller Live. This year’s tour also coincides with the 25th Anniversary of Michael Jackson’s epic album, Thriller.

Following the success of the Spring dates of Thriller Live, the multimedia stage and video spectacular celebrating the amazing career of the one of the world’s greatest entertainers, Michael Jackson, Flying Music and Key Concerts announce that the show will be returning this September for a series of special dates.

Zoe Birkett, who debuted in the show during its first outing in the Spring , will be reprising her role as one of the principal singers. Birkett, who shot to fame on ITV1’s hit reality show, Pop Idol, will be bringing her magic to the music of Michael Jackson.

Kerys Nathan, whose credits include directing a stellar line up of recording artists such as Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Toni Braxton and Michael Jackson, will once again be Director of the show.

With dazzling choreography (from MTV award winner, LaVelle Smith Jnr – credits include Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation Tour, Beyonce’s American and UK tours, Rolling Stones Steel Wheels Tour and more) and brilliant vocal performances, Jackson's amazing songs and videos are brought to life on stage in a spectacular and sensational way.

This amazing show, featuring a West End cast of performers including singers, dancers, choir, and live band will celebrate the King of Pop like never before!

The UK tour, starts on September 5th, with five shows at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, features over two-hours of hit songs including Thriller, I Want You Back, I'll Be There, Blame It On The Boogie, Can You Feel It, Rock With You, She's Out Of My Life, Billie Jean, Earth Song, and many more.

The production, conceived by Adrian Grant, who himself has a long association with Michael Jackson, having published the best selling Jackson biographies, Michael Jackson – The Visual Documentary, and Making History (both Omnibus Press) has been over 15 years in the making, from a tribute show in 1991 to a West End spectacular in 2006. Indeed, the cast of Thriller Live took to the stage at last year’s World Music Awards at Earls Court, where they performed to Thriller itself.
