Keira Knightley Joins Jonathan Ross To Kick Off Autumn Season

Jonathan Ross Four times Bafta award-winner and doyen of Friday night TV chat Jonathan Ross plays host to a stellar line-up of guests including Keira Knightley, Adam Sandler and Simon Pegg at the start of the 13th season of the multi-award-winning Friday Night With Jonathan Ross next month on BBC One – which will run for 15 weeks.

And after the Christmas break he's back in January for a new, extended run that makes him a permanent fixture for Friday nights across 40 weeks of 2008.

Now in its sixth year, the last series of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross peaked with an audience of 4.7 million and a 39% share of the Friday night viewership.

The new season begins on 7 September 2007 with a rare TV appearance from one of Britain's most successful young actresses, Keira Knightley.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star visits the Ross sofa for the first time to talk about her latest starring role in Atonement.

Joining them will be US A-list funnyman Adam Sandler; UK comedy hero Simon Pegg; and there's music from The Polyphonic Spree.

Other forthcoming guests include: Cate Blanchett, Freddie Flintoff, Quentin Tarantino, Helen Mirren, Jamie Foxx, Ewan McGregor, Charlie Boorman, Samuel L Jackson, Trinny & Susannah and Richard Hammond.

Friday Night With Jonathan Ross has won numerous awards including four Baftas, a British Comedy Award, a Broadcast Award and the Indie Award for Best Entertainment Programme.
