Myleene Klass to host Classical Brits Musician, broadcaster and TV presenter, the multi-talented Myleene Klass has been confirmed to host The Classical BRIT Awards 2008 with NS&I, in the same week that her album ‘ Music For Mothers’ tops the Classical Compilation chart.

The BPI, representing UK record companies, is also delighted to announce the appointment of two new co-chairmen to the Classical BRIT Awards Committee, UCJ Managing Director, Dickon Stainer and Head of EMI Classics UK, Thomas Kaurich. 2008 also celebrates the fifth consecutive year that the Awards have been sponsored by NS&I.

Myleene will host the prestigious awards when they return to the Royal Albert Hall for the ninth consecutive year on Thursday 8 May 2008. Together with an unprecedented all-star line up, this year’s Classical Brits promises to be one of the biggest and best shows ever.”
