Heather Mills – You’re fired!

Heather Mills’ high-profile divorce dramas have driven Britons to the brink, with more than 40% of us wanting to give her the axe, according to a recent Celebrity Apprentice poll of more than 9,000 TV fans conducted by MSN Entertainment.

To celebrate the popular new series of The Apprentice, MSN Entertainment gave online voters their own chance to play Sir Alan Sugar and fire the celeb they believe should be shown the door.

In what is a clear marching order for the former glamour model and estranged wife of British rock 'n' roll icon Paul McCartney, Mills was the prime candidate for a firing - before Prime Minister Gordon Brown (13%) and England superstar, David Beckham (9%). Even football love rat Ashley Cole (9%), and troubled singer Amy Winehouse (9%) were no match for Mills, proving that the nation has had enough of the ranting diva.

MSN Entertainment Editor Mike Lok says: “The new series of The Apprentice is one of the most popular and eagerly anticipated reality shows of the year so we wanted to give voters their own chance to send someone packing. Heather Mills’ recent public outcries, strange outfits and court case have evidently not been a hit with MSN voters.’’
