The nation’s favourite WAGs

Being a WAG is no longer just about sitting in the sidelines cheering on your man - who just so happens to be a national sporting hero. These days many WAGs are branching out into new horizons and launching their own clothesline, perfume, fitness DVD or music video - well they can't go shopping all the time!

Research conducted by Aero Hot Chocolate has revealed our top 5 favourite celebrity WAGs:

Louise Redknapp has knocked Victoria Beckham well and truly off her pedestal. Colleen Mcloughlin actually ranked second with Posh Spice only just scraping a paltry third place.

With all this in mind it's hardly surprising that 22% of 16-24 year olds would like to be a WAG themselves and over a third would like to have a WAG for a friend. Naturally all lunches and shopping sprees would be on them, what more could you want in a bosom buddy? Over a quarter further admit they're addicted to reading up on WAG gossip including weddings, break-ups and fashion faux pas.
