Celebrities say it like it is

What do Sharon Osbourne, Jeremy Clarkson, Simon Cowell and Chris Moyles all have in common? They’re all known for saying it like it is and are just some of the nominees put forward for the first ever Three Barrels Plain Speaking Personality Awards.

From 1 August, the public can go visit three-barrels.com to vote for who they think should be the winner from a Top 10 list of high-profile celebrities and will even be in with a chance of winning exclusive Three Barrels prizes. The Top 10 list was compiled by Three Barrels Brandy and the Plain English Campaign, as part of the Three Barrels Plain Speaking Campaign, which aims to demystify the world of brandy.

The shortlist of nominees all share a reputation for ‘plain speaking’ and includes Nicky Campbell, Adrian Chiles, Jeremy Clarkson, Simon Cowell, Vanessa Feltz, John Humphrys, Chris Moyles, Sharon Osbourne, Jeremy Paxman and Anne Robinson.

Voting closes on 18 September 2009. The winning celebrity will be announced at the end of September and crowned the first ever Three Barrels Plain Speaking Personality, receiving a personalised bottle of Three Barrels Brandy XO aged 15 years.
