12th May 2008 Print
The Classic Motor Show, the UK’s biggest and best classic motoring extravaganza and the place to share your passion for classic cars, has launched a new DVD featuring highlights of the 2007 show.

Presented by ex-British Touring car Champion Tim Harvey, this film is a personal journey through the event taking in all of the unique features including Mike Brewer and Edd China’s Wheeler Dealer Live, the Restoration Theatre, the Dream Rides, an opportunity for visitors to ride as a passenger in their dream car in exchange for a donation to charity, and the amazing cars on display.

The footage also covers the huge variety of cars on display, ranging from the multi-million pound exotica through to far more affordable popular and family classics with interviews with the owners and keepers of these amazing vehicles. Marques covered include the Bugatti Royale, the Triumph Dolomite and the Cooper Maserati as well as Jensens, Porsches, Jaguars, Fords, Lotus and many more.

The DVD, which runs for approximately 70 minutes, is an opportunity for visitors to relive their visit and to see some of the areas that they may have missed. Show Manager Andy Rouse explains: “Each year we aim to create a bigger and better show, with more unusual cars, more exciting features and much more for visitors to see and enjoy. This means that sometimes visitors don’t have enough time or shoe leather to cover every inch of the five halls and may miss a ‘hidden treasure’ within the show. By creating a DVD, we make sure that no-one misses anything and it’s a great way of planning your trip to the 2008 show.”

At just £10.99 plus postage and packaging at £2.50, the DVD can be purchased through the newly launched Classic Motor Show 2008 website (necclassicmotorshow.com). The site also features the latest classic motoring news, show updates, a gallery of stunning images from previous shows and all the information you need to plan your visit to this year’s show which takes place from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November 2008.

The Classic Motor Show is open from 10am until 6.30pm on Friday, 9.30am until 6.30pm on Saturday, and 9.30am until 5.30pm on Sunday. Ticket prices range from £15 when purchased in advance. For more information, the latest updates or to book tickets, visit necclassicmotorshow.com.
