Babyshambles Announce New UK Tour

Babyshambles have rescheduled the tour dates they had to postpone this month and have also added new dates to the tour, which now plays the UK in December. The first UK date coincides with the release of their 5 track EP ‘The Blinding’ out on December 4th.

Original tickets remain valid for the 5 October dates the band postponed to allow Pete Doherty the time and space he needed to continue his recovery from addiction. They are now scheduled amongst a further seven new dates in December.

6 - Bristol Academy
7 - London Hammersmith Apollo
8 - Lincoln Engine
9 - Inverness Ironworks
10 - Glasgow Academy
11 - Middlesborough Town Hall
12 - Manchester Academy
13 - Nottingham Rock City

The group said today; “It was always our intention to play these dates. Doing them in December means that Peter will have the time to continue with his great efforts to recover. With hindsight, it was too much for him to get back into touring so quickly after his discharge from rehab. The extra couple of months will ensure that he is in good shape for the December dates”.

New EP “The Blinding” will feature 5 all new Babyshambles compositions, with tracks including The Blinding, Love You But You’re Green, I Wish, Beg Steal Or Borrow and Sedative. All the tracks were recorded in London and were produced by the band.
