Vagina Monologues Return To Mayflower

The brilliant Broadway and West End hit The Vagina Monologues returns to The Mayflower by popular demand for one week only later this year (14 – 19 May 2007).

Audiences will enjoy a liberating evening as three famous women including Sue Holderness (Marlene from Only Fools and Horses) and Claire King (Emmerdale, Bad Girls and most recently seen in Strictly Come Dancing) recount tales and anecdotes from hundreds of others. The stories are uplifting, appalling, funny and often rude as they discuss how that part of the body, that is still unmentionable or embarrassing for many, has affected their lives. If you love a good story, a good laugh or a good cry, this witty, moving and uplifting entertainment is for you.

Thought provoking and hugely entertaining the ultimate girl’s night out has proved compulsive viewing for men too!

Every performance of The Vagina Monologues will donate a portion of ticket sales to the V-day fund, an organisation that provides charitable aid to women and girls who have been victims of abuse and violence. Since May 2001 the West End & touring production of The Vagina Monologues has donated in excess of £250,000 to local charities.
