Famously revered for their 15 weeks at No 1 in 1994 with Love is All Around (a record that is yet to be broken by a British act) during their years together they have notched up a number of hits and accolades. After landing a record deal with Phonogram in 1985, they released their debut single, Wishing I Was Lucky in 1987 and it was the start of a phenomenal run of 26 Top 40 hits including Temptation (1988), Sweet Surrender (1989), Goodnight Girl (1991), Julia Says (1995), and If I Never See You Again (1997) with the band selling in excess of fifteen million records.
They have been working on new material for the past few months, once they got back into the studio together it was like they had never been apart. There is a lot of excitement around the new album, as the Wet Wet Wet sound has understandably grown with the band members.
Wet Wet Wet were always renowned for their live performances and these dates are set to be the biggest and best yet.
