Christie’s Set To Make An Impression

Francis Bacon Over £150 million worth of works by Bacon, Warhol, Picasso, Matisse and many others are going up for auction at Christie’s. On Friday 2 February at 9.30am, at Christie’s South Kensington, the most important work by Francis Bacon ever to appear at auction will be on public view for the very first time in London joined by other celebrated Post-War and Contemporary artists such as Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Rothko.

At Christie’s King Street, again on Friday 2 February at 11.00am, significant works by Picasso, Matisse and Magritte from Christie’s largest ever sale of Impressionist and Modern Art will be unveiled.
