Punk Science: Know it all?

Tuesday 27 February, 19.00-20.30

A fusion of science, comedy, music, live experiments, video clips, slide shows and interactive voting, as Punk Science answer some of the biggest and most important scientific quandaries of our time. What, they will ask, is a black hole? How will the Universe end? Is there life after death? Is time travel possible? And are ladybirds trying to take over the world?

Punk Science aims to take the scariness out science and make it accessible to anyone with half a brain or, failing that, reality TV stars. Punk uses live science demonstrations and video clips to help the audience in their journey to enlightenment, they also throw in the odd vote to keep the crowd involved in the debate.

Jon Milton from Punk Science said: “At first I thought science was my mortal enemy, but by doing these shows I’ve learnt to love science like a pet.”

Events start at 7pm, but the bar is open for food all day and evening and closes at 9pm. Check out the website for full listings danacentre.org.uk.

Tickets to all events are FREE and open to anyone over the age of 18, but you must pre book on: 020 7942 4040 or tickets@danacentre.org.uk.
