Commenting on the booking for the Forestry Commission, Forest Tours Mike Taylor said "We are delighted The Feeling has confirmed these shows. They are rising stars of the British music scene and will undoubtedly be a huge hit with our Forest audience”.

Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling says: “We’re really looking forward to doing these Forest shows. Last year we played a few festivals but people didn’t really know our songs. I’m hoping that’ll have changed this year.”

The last year has been huge for The Feeling. Their four singles “Sewn” (March ‘06), “Fill My Little World” (June ‘06) “Never Be Lonely” (August ‘06) and “Love It When You Call” (November ‘06) were all huge hits and the band performed to sell-out audiences wherever they played. The cumulative airplay enjoyed by the band’s four singles meant that The Feeling were the No 1 most played band in the UK in 2006.

Their next single “Rosé” will be released on 12th February ’07. Their debut album “Twelve Stops And Home” from which all the singles are taken has now sold nearly 700,000 copies (double platinum). 2007 has started with a bang with The Feeling’s “Fill My Little World” being nominated for Best Single at the BRIT Awards.
