Will Self Reading In Bristol

13th March 2007 Print
Will Self Writer and broadcaster Will Self will be appearing at Waterstone’s Bristol to read from his novel ‘The Book of Dave’ at 7.30pm on 29th March.

‘The Book of Dave’ is based on an outrageously unlikely premise: that the bigoted rantings of an embittered London cabbie become the basis for an entire post-apocalyptic society. It’s the latest in a series of daring and brilliant books from Self.

With grotesque novels like ‘Great Apes’ and ‘How the Dead Live’, and a series of appearances on shows such as ‘Have I Got News for You’ and ‘Shooting Stars’, Will Self is one of the most recognisable British writers of his generation.

Will Self will be reading from ‘The Book of Dave’ at Waterstone’s, 11A Union Galleries, Bristol on Thursday 29th March at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3.

‘The Book of Dave’ is published by Penguin Books, priced £7.99.
