Lou Reed To Play Manchester International Festival

Lou Reed has just added a third UK show to his ‘Berlin’ 2007 European tour. His first date, in the UK, will now be at the Manchester International Festival on Friday 29th June, followed by two nights at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 30th June and 1st July.

Lou Reed will be performing his 1973 landmark album Berlin, in its entirety. These rare European concerts will see Reed performing with a 30-piece ensemble including his band, a string and horn section, and a children’s choir.

Tickets for the Manchester International Festival go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday March 23rd.
