Alice In Wonderland Comes To Wales Millennium Centre

With innovative choreography, fabulous designs, breathtaking illusions and a striking Tchaikovsky score, the magic and mystery of this quintessential children’s classic are superbly translated to the stage.
Alice in Wonderland is known for its array of outlandish characters and the costumes, dreamt up by Sue Blane, are fittingly bizarre and captivating. The production includes breathtaking on-stage illusions from Paul Kieve and a wonderful Tchaikovsky score specially arranged by Carl Davis.
Derek Deane is former Artistic Director of English National Ballet and has created ballets for the Company which include Swan Lake in the round, soon to be seen at the Royal Albert Hall. Sue Blane is best known for her work as costume designer for the Rocky Horror Show which has became a cult classic across the world.
More recently she designed the family ballet The Canterville Ghost for English National Ballet, which has proved a hit both in London and on tour. Paul Kieve’s latest creations are soon to be seen in the West End on the brand new Lord of the Rings musical, he also works as Daniel Radcliffe’s private magic tutor for his role in the Harry Potter films.
