Christmas parties sealed with an ‘Arctic Kiss’

11th June 2007 Print
London Art House It’s never too early to be thinking about Christmas and if you are tasked with planning the office party or wish to provide client hospitality with a difference over the festive season, there are still three weeks to take advantage of the London Art House’s early booking incentive – valid until 29 June - saving £15pp*.

This unusual and distinctive conference and banqueting venue in London’s chic borough of Islington has created its own cocktail for the festive season – the Artic Kiss. It will be served in long, twisted stem crystal glasses in two combinations, featuring vodka and champagne for purists with a clear-as-ice preference and with the addition of Blue Curacao for the more adventurous.

The venue will transform its stunning Manor Garden Hall into a magical winter wonderland throughout December, complete with an indoor-ice skating, on request. The Hall, featuring murals which embody the gracious grandeur of one of England’s greatest garden designers, Capability Brown, will be enhanced for the season with a myriad of twinkling lights and dressed trees. The Manor Garden Hall can comfortably seat up to 200 guests or a canapé reception for up to 300.

The package, priced from £90pp (plus VAT) with a DJ or from £95pp with a live band, based on a minimum number of 75 guests, includes:-

- Manor Garden Hall between 6.30pm to midnight
- use of the Tadema Terrace and Rococo Room for pre-dinner drinks
- Arctic Kiss champagne cocktail on arrival
- Unlimited mulled wine, house wine, beer, juice & water
- Three course, seated buffet
- Decorated tables with crackers
- Band or DJ
- Dance floor
- Optional indoor-ice skating rink (price on application)

The privately-owned London Art House was transformed five years ago from a printing works into a beautiful and unique conference and banqueting venue, taking its inspiration from some of the world’s greatest artists and design periods. It has 16 spaces, set in three halls, with capacities ranging from 8 to 300; each has its own clearly-defined artistic theme. These range from the elegant richness of the Rococo period, through the warmth of the Mediterranean inspired by the work of Alma Tadema and Monet and the ornate luxury of the Baroque period to the sharp, monochrome simplicity of Bauhaus.

Located just off Essex Road in the heart of Islington, the London Art House works closely with some of the capital’s most creative culinary talents such as The Admirable Crichton, Passion Organic, The Recipe and New Quebec Quisine and maintains a portfolio of superb event suppliers to ensure that each event reflects the individuality of the client.

*To take advantage of these special early booking prices, bookings must be confirmed before the 29 June 2007 (after this date the prices will be £105 and £100 plus VAT respectively).
