Mondial Assistance Group, the global assistance provider, announces a positive year with its Automotive business accounting for significant growth in 2007. With an ongoing focus on worldwide expansion, Mondial Assistance has been able to develop in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe, maintaining its market leading position.

“We continue to increase our presence on all continents by responding to new market needs including roadside assistance, e-assistance, accident management and mechanical warranties,” explains, Mike Webb, Managing Director of Mondial Assistance in the UK. “As part of our commitment to a global network, we have been cultivating our services in growth countries like Brazil, India, China, Russia and now Mexico. This expansion enables us to reinforce our position as world leader, securing the future of the business as a whole.”

Mondial Assistance Group’s Automotive division has played a key role in a positive year for the Group. With a difficult European market, Mondial Assistance has focused on reinforcing the quality of its offering, investing in major innovations in e-roadside assistance solutions and diagnostic assistance in case of a breakdown. In addition, Mondial Assistance has delivered a consistent level of service by adapting to local conditions, such as creating a dedicated fleet in India and assisting in recovering lost drivers’ licence points in France.

Webb concludes, “In 2007, Mondial Assistance signed important new contracts with manufacturers including Citroën in France, Ford in India and Brazil, Mercedes and Chrysler in China, Volkswagen in Australia, Mitsubishi in Japan and most recently, Volvo in India. The Group’s activity is increasingly global, making it more important than ever that Mondial Assistance continues to provide a high level of customer care, tailored to the needs of each market. It is this focus and vision that continues to set Mondial Assistance apart as the first choice for motor manufacturers worldwide.”
