Club together to save on theatre tickets

Theatre goers can now secure half price tickets for some of their favourite shows by booking through TheatreClub, a facebook application powered by online leisure retailer Lastminute.com.

TheatreClub works by grouping people together who want to see the same show even though they may not know each other. Once the group for an upcoming performance is closed lastminute.com will secure a group-rate discount for everyone in the group, which could be as much as half the normal ticket price.

Significant savings of up to half the normal ticket price can be made on well-known shows such as:

- The Sound of Music
- The Phantom of the Opera
- The Lion King
