A special Autumn Wine Fair

The Granville @ Barford, in conjunction with Dorje’s Wine Company, will be hosting a special Autumn Wine Fair which will take place on Tuesday 30 September from 4pm - 9pm. Guests will be able to sample over 100 different wines from around the world including 3 champagnes from specialist privately owned Champagne Houses - Montaudon, Philipponat and Autreau.

Dorjes will be introducing a new range of exciting wines from Argentina, Chile, Greece, South Africa and the U.S.A. They will also be show-casing a number of top quality wines from their growers Estates and Domaines from France, Italy and Spain. From Italy, they will be representing a number of notable wine estates including Poggio Argentiera, one of Scansano’s best wineries in Maremma – Southern Tuscany, bordering Lazio, from legendary Gianpaolo Paglia from Tuscany, whose Finisterre won 5 stars in the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter; also ‘Organic Primitivo’ from Pasquale Petrera in Puglia.

From France, guests will be able to sample Mas De Daumas Gassac from the Languedoc, a wine chronicled by the redoubtable Michael Broadbent in his book Vintage Wine. From the New World, guests can sample the dynamic wines of Distant Land which are rated amongst the top wineries in New Zealand.

A number of VIP guests will be attending the event including Juan de la Vega from Vina Pedrosa – Bodegas Hermanos Perez Pascuas, one of the most prestigious estates in the Ribera del Duero, Spain, and renowned as a World Class Winery with an International reputation.

As well as sampling the extensive range of wines from Dorjé’s Wine Company, Alastair and Jayne MacBrayne, with representatives of the vineyards and wineries, will introduce the wines and provide an insight into wine appreciation. This will be a great experience for wine lovers.

The event, which is ticket only, costs just £15 a head which will be refunded against any wine order in excess of £100.
