Manchester hosts series of Indian Music Concerts

Milapfest, the UK's premier South Asian Arts Development Trust and the Bridgewater Hall have announced the launch of a brilliant new Indian Music concert series in Manchester. The series, entitled 'Music for the Mind and Soul', will be a monthly feature at the Bridgewater Hall showcasing the very best in young Indian music from both India and the UK.

The concerts are unique in that they are designed to provide the listener with an escape from the pressures of everyday life - a chance to relax on a Saturday afternoon while listening to some of the greatest musicians of India.

Each month the concerts will feature a different style, artist, and instrument of Indian classical music.
