Shake your way to five a day
The Living Room Edinburgh has launched its new cocktail menu starring five Raw Juices cocktails set to add a healthy edge to the venue’s drinks selection. All five non-alcoholic cocktails are made from a combination of freshly squeezed fruits and vegetables including pineapple, watermelon, beetroot and pears. The High Flyer, Peak Performer, Caribbean Cleanser, What’s Up Doc! and Honey Dew are packed with essential vitamins and minerals, all of which are vital for a healthy diet that is high in fibre. They are also a delicious way to have your five daily servings of fruits and vegetables.
Each cocktail has been developed not only as a tasty alternative to alcoholic drinks but also with a specific health benefit in mind: increased concentration and brain power, support with detox efforts and a stronger immune system are some of the advantages.
Ross Butler, General Manager of The Living Room Edinburgh, said: “Many of our guests try to eat a healthy diet and our Raw Juices offer them a fun, delicious alternative to regular cocktails.”
The Living Room’s new cocktail menu also features a wide selection of the expertly prepared alcoholic cocktails the stylish George Street bar is renowned for. Long standing favourites like The Living Room’s signature cocktail, the Basil Grande, its Fire Island Iced Tea and Apple & Cranberry Mojito can now be found in a separate section making it easier for guests to order their personal favourites.
Future ‘master shakers’ can learn to re-create some of The Living Room’s tasty cocktails during a cocktail masterclass, available from £25 per person. For more information, log on to Thelivingroom.co.uk.
