New champagne bar adds glamour to Shepherd’s Bush

On 30th October, Searcys 1847, the creators of Europe’s longest Champagne Bar at St Pancras, and 40/30, the exclusive bar, restaurant and private dining rooms in the ‘Gherkin’, has just launched a brand new Champagne Bar at Westfield London - the spectacular new £1.6bn retail experience in Shepherd’s Bush, West London.

For the best retail therapy in London, The Village at Westfield London is dedicated to luxury premium brands. The Champagne Bar - beautifully designed by Hiscox Parladé – has an intimate, boutique feel and adds to The Village sense of style.

Located at the epicentre of prestigious shops such as Miu Miu, Dior, Smythson, Tiffany & Co. and Prada, the 34-seat Champagne Bar is somewhere to relax, indulge and watch the world go by. Combining stylish oyster-coloured leather panels and stools with polished nickel, the bar is sleek and sophisticated; an oversized ornate glass chandelier reaches down from the high ceiling, completing the look.

The only bar within The Village, The Champagne Bar by Searcys 1847 offers a list of five specially selected Champagnes including Bollinger Special Cuvee and Perrier Jouët Grand Brut, starting at £8.50 for a glass of JP Deville for those in need of a break from retail therapy. There is also a short selection of wines and a signature Champagne cocktail.

A bespoke Champagne and wine list deserves a carefully crafted but light menu. Richard Corrigan, Searcys’ Michelin-starred Food Director, has designed the perfect menu to complement the fizz, with dishes such as Royal fillet of London cure salmon, Serrano ham, and Sevruga caviar. For something sweet, indulge in homemade Champagne chocolate truffles.

The Champagne Bar opens daily from 11am - 9pm (from 12noon on Sundays). There is a no reservation policy.
