December Sunday Lunches – ‘Come as yourself, go home as an elf’
Families looking for a hassle-free way to get into the festive spirit can enjoy a delicious Sunday buffet for just £19.50 per adult and £10.00 per child*. Dishes include poached salmon with prawn mayonnaise, smoked fish and shellfish and rosemary scented leg of lamb with red wine jus. Meanwhile the children are kept entertained by Santa and his little helpers, who will visit during the lunch with gifts for all the good boys and girls before performing a magical transformation, so that children will ‘come as them self and go home as an elf’.

Christmas Day
Private dining rooms are available on Christmas day to allow parties to ‘host your own roast’; ideal for groups of ten or more looking to savour a traditional Christmas lunch with an intimate group of friends and family. These high ceilinged rooms have stunning original features such as grand fireplaces and many have stunning views over Charlotte Square. The menu includes traditional roast turkey with bacon and chestnut stuffing carved at the table by your host and is available from £45 per guest.

Christmas lunch will also be served in the grand George Suite. With champagne cocktails on arrival, the menu features king prawns and oysters ‘on ice’ and honey baked ‘clove studded’ ham, from as little as £55.00 per adult and £29.50 per child. Live music and a visit from Santa is also included.

Finally, the award winning chefs will also prepare a luxurious four course feast in the Melrose Restaurant, which includes confit of duck and foie gras terrine and fillet of Scottish beef with wild mushroom and goose liver ‘Wellington’ priced at £75.00 per guest.

Boxing Day
After the excitement of the big day, wind down with a light Boxing Day buffet with jazz accompaniment - and absolutely no turkey. The menu is priced at £17.50 per adult and £10.00 per child and includes treats such as smoked haddock kedgeree.

New Year’s Eve
The George Suite will play host to the most elegant New Year’s Eve party - the Masquerade Ball. Guests will be provided with their own unique mask to wear during the evening, which includes a delicious five course meal, unlimited wine and entertainment from ‘Frank Sinatra’. The dress code for this truly stylish evening is black, white and diamonds and costs from £89 per guest.

New Year’s Day Brunch
To round off the festive season, enjoy a relaxed brunch including full Scottish breakfast from the buffet and roast sirloin of Scottish beef. Prices from £20.00 per adult and £9.00 per child.
