Warwickshire pub to raise £1,000 for charity The Granville @ Barford will be celebrating New Years Eve with a special Rock ‘n Roll themed party which will also raise money for charity. Money from each ticket sold will be donated to “Lupus West Midlands”, the national charity for people with the incurable immune system illness.

Over 30,000 people have the disease in the UK of whom 90% are female with the ratio of women to men being 9:1. However, men and young children can also be affected by the disease. The Rock n’ Roll extravaganza is expected to raise at least £1,000 for the nominated charity.

The party, which starts at 7pm and ends at 1am, is ticket only. Tickets cost £39.95 per person and include a complimentary glass of punch on arrival, home-cooked food from the 50’s and a glass of bubbly at midnight. Live music is provided by the ‘Eager Beavers’, a popular Rockabilly/Rock ‘n Roll band that will keep everyone dancing past midnight.

For those suffering from the excesses of the party, The Granville will be offering an all day brunch menu with a glass of champagne or a super-juice from 12 noon to 4.30 pm on New Years Day. The perfect cure for hangovers!

Val Kersey, Proprietor, stated “We hope that everyone will enjoy our Rock ‘n Roll party, which should be a fantastic evening if last year’s event is anything to go by. Guests will also be supporting a very worthwhile charity and we hope to raise as much money as possible on the night.”

The Granville @ Barford is situated 1 mile from the M40 at junction 15 on the A429 sign-posted to Stow-on-the-Wold.
