11th March 2009 Print
Tina Turner has been forced to reschedule her fifth show at London’s The O2 Arena tonight (Wednesday 11 March) and the concert scheduled for the following night at Sheffield Arena (Thursday 12 March.) Tina has contracted respiratory Flu and doctors earlier today advised her to take 6 days rest to fully recover.

The London O2 Arena date will now be on Sunday 3 May and the Sheffield Arena concert is now on Tuesday 5 May.

A spokesperson for Tina Turner commented: “Tina always wants to give one hundred percent and has been overwhelmed by the reaction from her UK fans at the gigs last week. She regrets this decision to postpone and the inconvenience to all those fans with tickets but wants to make sure each concert she does is memorable for everyone”

Concert promoters Marshall Arts ask ticket holders for London and Sheffield to please retain their tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Those unable to attend can get refunds from the point of purchase from Monday 16 March 2009 through to Monday 6 April 2009.

For all the information on the rescheduled dates go to Marshall-arts.com.

All other dates on Tina’s European Tour will be not be affected.
