An old English menu for St Georges Day

The award-winning dining pub will be decorated with English flags whilst old English ales such as England’s Glory will be on tap. On the Saturday night, the team of Chefs will venture out of the kitchens and carve the roasts in front of diners in the restaurant.
Over the four days guests can choose from a range of starters including Cream of Vegetable Soup, Yorkshire pudding filled with mushrooms in a white wine & cream sauce, Prawn Cocktail, Melon served with Fruit Coulis and Ham Hock Terrine. Main dishes include roast British Beef, roast Pork, Faggots, Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie, Steak & Ale Pie, and crispy Beer Battered Fish with chips & mushy peas. Old English desserts include Apple Pie, Eton Mess, Sherry Trifle, Bread & Butter Pudding and Treacle Tart. The cost per person is £14.95 for 2 courses or £18.50 for 3 courses.
