Bank holiday fun at The Granville at Barford The Granville at Barford is to host a special three day August Bank Holiday extravaganza which will see three events take place from Saturday 29 – Monday 31 August inclusive. The festivities start on Saturday 29 August with jazz music in the garden.

Customers will each receive a complimentary glass of Pimms whilst relaxing in the garden listening to the soothing sounds of jazz.

On Sunday 30 August, Johnny and the Zephyrs, a fantastic seven piece rock 'n' roll band, will play in the garden from 4pm - 9pm. The band will perform hits from Elvis Presley, Status Quo, Shakin Stevens, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones and Chuck Berry. The band, who have played for the last 20 years, have performed at some impressive venues including a yacht at the Monaco Grand Prix, The Gherkin in London, The Ricoh Arena in Coventry, Warwick Castle, the NEC and the National Motorcycle Museum. The band has also played alongside many famous artists including Jet Harris from The Shadows, Marty Wilde, Marmalade and Jasper Carrott.

Over the years they have also performed in front of celebrities including Roger Moore, Kylie Minogue, Morgan Freeman, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Zara Philips, Camilla Parker Bowles and Nelson Mandela.

The three day event ends on Monday 31 August with a BBQ party, weather permitting. Customers can sit back, relax and enjoy the bank holiday Monday whilst children are entertained with a fantastic 50ft bouncy assault course.
