Romantics Say 'I Do' To Heavenly’s Wedding Delights

29th January 2007 Print
For those with romance in mind then Llandeilo is the place to be next month as the town gets in the mood for love at the Heavenly Wedding and Valentine Fair (February 8-10).

True Taste Award gold winners, Heavenly, will be showing their range of chocolate wedding cakes, cup cakes, favours and chocolates. Also on offer is a bespoke wedding ice cream service.

‘Heavenly’ has a reputation for creating unique and distinctive ice cream which is made in a special ‘lab’ on the premises, where with just 48 hours notice they can create any flavour the customer wants. The artisan ice cream makers who won gold with their Marsala Tiramisu Ice Cream use organic Welsh milk and cream.

They use as many locally sourced products as possible; the ice cream and sorbets are made using local organic cream and milk, while their loose chocolates are made by Jean Woodman of The Welsh Chocolate Co.

“Chocolate is said to be an aphrodisiac, so what better to eat on romantic occasions. Also while traditional wedding cakes and desserts are still popular, people are increasingly looking for something different for their big day,” says Tracey Kindred, who with her husband Paul runs ‘Heavenly’ and the town’s The Angel Hotel and Bistro where the Fair will be held.

“The Fair will be quite a town event as there will also be a number of stands from local businesses offering wedding services,” adds Tracey, who has just returned from Rimini in Italy host of SIGEP, the world’s largest ice cream, pastry and confectionary trade exhibition.
