Mud Is In The Air This Valentine’s Day
With the launch of Muddymatches.co.uk - a new online community for country-minded people - on March 1st, it’s not so much love but mud that’s in the air this Valentine’s Day, and doesn’t it make a refreshing change?Muddymatches.co.uk is for any person who loves the countryside and is not afraid of a bit of mud.
Founded by country-loving sisters, Emma and Lucy Reeves, Muddy Matches is a light-hearted and fun forum for country-minded, or ‘muddy’, people of all ages, from all over the UK and Ireland and from all walks of life, to meet each other, for shared interests, friendship or dating.
“We believe it will be an excellent way to meet like-minded people”, says Lucy, “Whether you’re a single farmer looking for a partner that understands your way of life, a newlywed couple that have just relocated to the countryside and are finding it hard to meet new people or a happily-married woman looking for walking buddies in your area as you’ve promised to take more exercise in 2007”.
Muddy Matches is all about socialising and broadening your horizons - whatever your situation – so, single or married, five Valentine’s cards or none, if you like meeting new people and are not afraid of a bit of mud, this could be the site for you.
Members will be able to search for people in their area, safely send and receive messages via the site and post and respond to messages on the ‘Muddy Matters’ message board. They will also be kept informed about a number of social events and weekends away that are being planned for 2007.
It’s free to join Muddy Matches and, if you get in quick and sign up before the site’s full launch on March 1st, you’ll be in with a chance of winning a week’s fishing holiday in the Scottish Highlands or a year’s supply of Jelly Belly jelly beans.
