Say goodbye to 'kiss-me-quick-cards' and hello to 'tease-me-texts'. 90% of us will send romantic or saucy text and picture messages to loved and fancied ones this Valentine’s Day.

Traditional flowers, bouquets and paper cards could be on the way out as, according to Orange, nine out of ten mobile phone users will choose more modern methods of wooing and wowing - text and picture messaging.

The most popular 'mobile missives’ for communicating our desires and affections are:

• Romantic text messages
• Saucy pictures
• Sharing a naughty secret
• Playing cupid for one of your single friends

An Orange spokesperson says, “Getting a card from an anonymous admirer could soon be a thing of the past - modern day cupids are turning to texts to let someone know they care. With picture messaging you can get really creative - or leave it all to the recipient's imagination…"
