Discover London’s Hidden Secrets With “Tanqueray Tables”
Imagine being able to relax with friends in the courtyards of some of London’s most exclusive and historic residences this Summer. The makers of Tanqueray gin, together with Toptable.co.uk, are opening up the courtyards of some of London’s most exclusive private residences for a unique series of one-off evenings entitled “Tanqueray Tables”.Collectively, the history of Dartmouth House, Mary Ward House and No 4 Hamilton Place spans over 600 years and these impressive premises are usually strictly off limits to the public. Now though, these historic houses are opening their doors for what promises to be a series of truly memorable evenings.
Tanqueray cocktails, atmospheric lighting, music and canapés designed exclusively by Helena Puolakka, Executive Chef at the newly launched Skylon restaurant at the Royal Festival Hall, are just some of the delights on offer.
The events open at Dartmouth House, Mayfair (August 9th) before moving on to Mary Ward House, Bloomsbury (August 16th). Tanqueray Tables culminates at the spectacular No.4 Hamilton Place overlooking Hyde Park (August 23rd). All are unique historic venues boasting a fantastic outdoor space, perfect for spending a summer evening kicking back, enjoying a drink and catching up with friends and colleagues.
Tanqueray is the perfect accompaniment to such evenings. Recently voted the best tasting and quality premium gin, and the best for making cocktails and martinis, by top bartenders in the UK[1], the recipe for Tanqueray has not changed since it was first crafted by Charles Tanqueray in 1830.
Michelle Smith, editor of toptable.co.uk said, “Tanqueray Tables is about enjoying a taste of secret London with great drinks, music and fantastic food all provided within amazing settings. It’s a unique opportunity, particularly when it’s so hard to find outdoor tables in London, and one which really shouldn’t be missed.”
