Boost Juice Bars burst into Essex

10th January 2008 Print
Boost Juice Bars burst into Essex Australia’s fastest growing smoothie and juice bar chain, Boost Juice Bars, is set to open its 6th UK store this Saturday 8 December, at Lakeside Shopping Centre – following the successful launch of the brand in April.

Boost has already taken Manchester, Oxford and Nottingham by storm after opening in spring, with the Manchester Trafford Centre Bar proving to be the busiest Boost Juice Bar in the world! The Australian phenomenon has now opened over 200 stores worldwide, from Australia to Chile, to Kuwait to Indonesia, to Singapore to the UK.

Boost was set up by Australian Janine Allis in 2000, when she couldn’t find a healthy and natural fast food alternative for her 3 young sons. Former owners & co-founders of the Millie’s Cookies phenomenon, Richard O’Sullivan and Mario Budwig are the UK owners of the successful juice bar brand. Richard says he loves Boost because “It ticks all my boxes, it’s healthy, it’s funky, it’s great music, it’s great staff, it’s full of young people – it’s all the things I want in my life.”

Boost Juice sells a range of fresh fruit smoothies and juices that contain no preservatives, artificial flavours or colourings and are at least 98% fat free. The company prides itself on the promotion of a healthy and active lifestyle mixed with an uncompromising addiction to fun.
