Revive Juice Bars unveils search for the next Kate Moss Revive, the popular chain of fresh juice and smoothie bars, today announced the launch of a new partnership with top model agency Storm. The brands have teamed up to find fresh faces and new talent across the UK, and will also be looking for models to star in the leading juice bar chain’s media campaigns next year. The competition will run for throughout 2008, with a number of dedicated scouting days and hopefuls can also enter online at Revivejuicebars.com.

Selected individuals will have the chance of being offered representation by Storm, along with a dream prize package including being the face of Revive for 2009, an international trip to Dubai, a photo shoot with a professional photographer, and professional advice from Storm’s experts.

Storm is one of the UK’s most respected modelling agencies celebrating 21 years this year and responsible for the careers of several of the world’s most famous faces including Kate Moss, Carla Bruni and Cindy Crawford as well as Kimberly Stewart, Alek Wek, Lily Cole, Sophie Dahl and boys Trent Ford, Sam Branson and Matthew Avedon.

Storm was established in 1988 by legendary agent Sarah Doukas who famously spotted Kate Moss in 1989 at JFK airport in NY. Sarah is widely credited with revolutionising the fashion industry by founding the first UK based modelling agency to provide international model representation and career management.

Sarah is widely known as the model agent with the “eye” and is widely credited with her talent for spotting original talent and beauty, and it is this interest and expertise that has earned Storm a reputation for being innovative and influential within the fashion industry. Sarah and her team are dedicated to nurturing new models and helping them develop a successful career in a responsible way, providing the best possible representation for each individual.

Special scouting days will take place at Revive’s 10 stores across the UK during 2008 and will be advertised in advance in local press and relevant shopping centres. Locations include Newcastle, Oldham, Warrington, Shrewsbury, Redditch, Crawley, Ashford and London. Scouting days will also feature a range of promotions including free smoothie and juice samples, competitions to win VIP club cards, discount vouchers and even a year’s supply of tasty smoothies!

The next scouting dates include 5th – 8th June; Storm scouts will be descending upon Newcastle’s MetroCentre during a dedicated Fashion Week. The Metrocentre is Europe’s biggest indoor shopping centre and management are also on the look out for a suitable model for their next publicity campaign.

The Revive chain was established four years ago by Australian entrepreneurs Christian Lehmann and Matthew Beesley. Founded on the principles of healthy eating, the pair struggled to find good options for a quick ‘grab and go’ drink and eventually decided to solve the problem themselves – Revive was born.

Revive specialises in serving up a wide range of freshly prepared hot and cold smoothies and blended juices. All the drinks are made to order using wholly natural ingredients - no artificial flavours, preservatives or additives are used. The stores also sell a delicious selection of fruit, sandwiches, wraps, health bars, muffins, low fat cakes and other guilt free snacks. The brand runs a smoothie of the week promotion priced at £1.99 as well as an economical ‘meal deal’ – perfect for healthy lunch options.

Since launching their first UK store in Wimbledon in 2004, the Revive chain has grown rapidly and now employs over 75 staff nationwide. The brand is poised to generate further employment this year with plans to open another 10 stores across the country, in addition to stores in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Spain.

Sarah Doukas, MD of Storm says: “My team and I are very excited about the partnership with Revive Juice Bars and the opportunity for Storm to discover new models to work with. Hopefully we will be able to work with a number of new faces! We are looking for a wide range of quite different looks and styles, so the best advice is just to come along to the Revive scouting days during the year and make sure you introduce yourself to our scouts.”

Christian Lehmann, Director and Co-founder of Revive commented: “The Revive brand is strongly focused on health and this is a key part of our search for the Face of Revive 2009. We will be looking for attractive boy/ girl next door types with sensible diets to act as ambassadors for our brand and as positive role models for our younger customers. Even if you don’t want to be a model, do come along to our events this year and try our great range of delicious juices, smoothies and low fat snack options.”
