Willows Farm Shop in St Albans has launched a county-wide hunt for Hertfordshire’s best pumpkin recipe. Keen chefs and amateur cooks from across Hertfordshire are being urged to submit their favourite pumpkin recipes by Saturday 18th October.

To be in with a chance of winning a Farm Shop hamper worth £100, all you have to do is write down your best pumpkin recipe, name and contact details and post to Herts’ Best Pumpkin Recipe, Willows Farm Shop, Coursers Road, London Colney, St Albans AL4 0PF or email to info@willowsfarmshop.com.

Willows Farm Village grows thousands of pumpkins every year as a part of its annual Pumpkin Festival, with the best pumpkins sold in Willows Farm Shop. You can’t get pumpkins more locally sourced than that!

Having grown hundreds of thousands of pumpkins over the years, Anna Wolfe, farmer and manager of Willows Farm Shop, has tried many pumpkin recipes. She will now put her years of experience with pumpkins to use by testing recipes from across Hertfordshire and selecting the county’s finest.

The best recipe will be cooked using Willows pumpkins and served in Willows Farm Shop Coffee Shop for a limited period.

Perhaps you’ve got a recipe that’s been handed down through generations that you’d like to share with everyone or you’ve written your own that’s been a bit of a hit with family and friends – let us know as it could be the winner!
