How Do U Tiramigü?

7th March 2007 Print
Gu Chocolate Puds It is a well-known fact that tiramisú in English means ‘pick me up.’ Taking their cue from those suave Italians, the chocolate extremists at Gü Chocolate Puds have created a perky pick me up pud with a twist – New Tiramigü.

Tiramigü has lashings of mascarpone on top of a coffee liqueur soaked sponge base and a scrümmy layer of 53% cocoa chocolate ganache. A purely indulgent Italian pud, it’s sure to get any pulse racing.

Legend has it that Italian women made tiramisù for their men before they went to war, to remind them of their love, as the bitter-sweet taste of mascarpone and coffee alludes to the perplexing feeling of love itself.

Dating even further back, it is believed Venetian women made tiramisù for their men during the late hours to gain energy for lovemaking. We think ü should try Gü’s Tiramigü today and see what happens …

Gü 2 Choc & Mascarpone Tiramigü (2 x 90g) is available in glass ramekins at Sainsbury’s priced at £2.49.

Please give your ramekins a new life by recycling them at your local bottle bank. Visit recyclenow.com for more information.
