No Nuts For Stringfellow's Celebrity Guests

20th April 2007 Print
Specialist food manufacturer, It's Nut Free, has recently supplied products to go in celebrity goodie bags distributed after the opening of Peter Stringfellow's latest nightclub venture in London. Celebrity guests, including Caprice, Bianca Gascoigne, Brendan Cole and the Cheeky Girls, were able to sample delicious nut free flapjacks after the Yorkshire based company was asked to contribute to the party bags given out to guests at the opening of The Wardour club.

The company, which is the only one in the country set up specifically to manufacture products for nut allergy sufferers, says it was asked because of concerns by organisers about giving out food products in goodie bags. More and more people are suffering from allergy or intolerance to nuts, seeds and eggs - none of which are used in the manufacture of It's Nut Free products - giving organisers a guaranteed safe snack bar for the goodie bags.

It's Nut Free was set up in 2002 and manufactures a range of cakes, biscuits, confectionery and flapjacks to the highest production standards which keeps the whole factory completely nut free.

Founder Angela Russell said: "The number of nut allergy sufferers in the UK is growing year on year and many people have to take extra care when choosing what to eat as even the smallest trace of nut oil can cause a reaction. All our products are made using traditional methods and premium quality natural ingredients - delicious whether you suffer from a nut allergy or not. We're delighted they were selected for this event."

It's Nut free products, which are also suitable for vegetarians, are available in Sainsbury's, Morrisons and independent retailers as well as online at itsnutfree.com.
