Harrods Launches Gourmet Picnic Menus

22nd May 2007 Print
Picnics As the days get longer, and the sun begins to have his hat on, our thoughts turn to the Great Outdoors. This is where we will head for the hills, and in true British tradition, go on a grail like search for the ‘Perfect Spot’ for a picnic, be it a tree for shade; a fantastic view; a space to play; or somewhere to watch the world go by - it will take an age to find, and tempers will fray, so why add to the stress by trying to remember whether you packed the salt and pepper? Let Harrods prepare it for you.

Just in time for summer, the famous Food Halls has launched a range of picnics which are perfect for your own adventure. Each menu comprises of a starter, main course and pudding, as well as water, bread and butter, and your choice of a half bottle of Harrods Chardonnay or Claret. It is then neatly packed in its own cool bag, along with cutlery, and wine glass.
