A New Generation Of Organic Meat Free Burgers

The food team at Cauldron like nothing better than coming up with new and inspiring ideas for their imaginative range of meat-free recipes. Their latest creations - Organic Mushroom & Wensleydale Burgers; Organic Mushroom & Stilton Burgers; and Organic Tofu & Aduki Bean Chilli Burgers – are true to form.

Crumbly Wensleydale and Cheddar cheeses, mixed with potato and rice, complement the strong rich flavour of field mushrooms in Cauldron’s Organic Tofu, Mushroom & Wensleydale Burgers. Or try the classic combination of mushroom and Stilton in Cauldron’s Organic Tofu, Mushroom & Stilton Burgers. Brown them in the oven, or under the grill, and serve with tomato relish and a mixed leaf salad for an easy, tasty lunch or supper dish.

Colourful red aduki beans, green and red peppers, tomato purée and spicy tofu marinated with coriander, garlic, chilli and cumin make Cauldron’s Organic Tofu & Aduki Bean Chilli Burgers an exotic centerpiece to a meal. Serve them on a bed of green leaves, halved cherry tomatoes and red onion slices with a topping of sour cream, sprinkled with paprika and tortilla chips on the side. Aduki beans have been cultivated in the Himalayas for over 1,000 years and have a slightly sweet flavour which is absorbed the organic tofu.

Cauldron’s Burgers are approved by the Vegetarian Society and the Soil Association, and use GM-free ingredients.

Cauldron Organic Mushroom and Wensleydale Burgers and Organic Mushroom and Stilton Burgers are available in the chiller cabinets of Tesco stores throughout the country, while the Organic Tofu & Aduki Bean Chilli Burgers are available at Sainsbury’s stores. There are two burgers to each 175g pack and the recommended retail price is £1.99.
