Figures add up at priceyourmeal.com
The figures are adding up at priceyourmeal.com, the revolutionary food auction website, which has hit its £250,000 turnover target two years after launching in Glasgow in Spring 2006.Following last year’s launch in Edinburgh and last month’s launch in London, priceyourmeal.com now plans to introduce its services to Manchester and Birmingham diners and restaurateurs to double its turnover to £500,000 within the next year.
Sukhvir Dhillon, managing director of priceyourmeal.com, said, “Since our launch we’ve hosted over 100,000 auctions and we hope to double that figure over the course of the next year as we roll-out our services across the UK. With customers saving, on average, 50 per cent off the menu price of a meal, there’s no surprise that many more restaurants and diners are logging onto priceyourmeal.com on a daily basis.”
At priceyourmeal.com, customers can save money by bidding for meals at the best restaurants and eat out at a price that suits their pockets. The site empowers diners to decide for themselves how much they want to pay for meals at top restaurants and hotels.
And with packages ranging from meals for two and food vouchers, to cookery classes, exclusive gift packages, hotel room and dinner packages, customers are sure to find something to suit their tastes.
Said Mr Dhillon, “We give customers a free online booking service that lets them customise their evening out by pre-selecting their menus and drinks – it couldn’t be simpler to use. And the recent launch of a new events planner feature on the website, enabling friends or colleagues to discuss and arrange events or nights out in a unique and fun way, is helping our figures add up.”
It sounds as if priceyourmeal.com has its growth plans all figured out.
