Grayshott Spa chooses Strata Tiles

Once the home of the Victorian poet Alfred Lord Tennyson, the now privately owned Grayshott Spa has recently been refurbished to include a new spa and pool complex.

Designed by John Cooper Architects; all tile and mosaic finishes were selected from Strata Tiles extensive range. The pool surround and changing room floors are finished with Strata Tiles natural travertine that incorporates a specially formed edge detail to provide a uniform finish from the pool edge to the perimeter of the pool hall walls. Step treads and risers were also produced in the same natural travertine to achieve a matching appearance. The freeform shape and subtle blue colour of a Barrisol stretched ceiling above the pool creates a subtle reflective effect to the water that actually sparkles due to the lustre effect of the Strata iridescent glass mosaic that lines the pool tank.
