The new collection of IKEA sofa covers from Bemz

Bemz' new collection, "Serendipity", is a tribute to 18th century Swedish design. Soft rococo inspired florals and traditional Swedish stripes and checks in muted summer tones of eggshell blue, dusty rose, pale grey and sand beige are paired with up-to-date, trendy houndstooth and glen check in a bold black and white combo and a very hip black and dusty rose combination.

The Serendipity collection features three themes or colour pairings: a very traditional Eggshell Blue theme with classic stripes and checks, a Sand Beige theme featuring unbleached linen and neutral combinations, and a Dusty Rose theme which combines a beautiful muted rose colour with bold modern black and white to give the collection a hip, up-to-date option.

Rococo stylings are proving popular this year, and Bemz offers a traditional interpretation as well as a modern, updated view of the 17th century, all from the Swedish perspective of Bemz’ own designer, Katarina Wiklund.

The new collections are available in 100 per cent cotton and a luxurious linen/cotton blend from Belgium. All Bemz fabrics have been specially selected for their quality, fine finish and durability and have been Sanforized to prevent shrinkage. Bemz covers are machine washable, and everything is mix and match. Returns are free, and shipping charges are minimal.

All Bemz products can be bought online at bemz.com, where you can also view your fabric selection on the sofa or armchair of your choice - and if you want to look at sample fabrics in your own home, you can order free swatches of your favourite colours and patterns.
